Merry Christmas Everyone – Shakin' Stevens

Posted by: santa1  /  Category: Christmas

Shakin’ Stevens, also known as “Shaky” (born Michael Barrett, 4 March 1948) is a platinum selling Welsh rock and roll singer and songwriter, who has the distinction of being the top selling male UK singles artist of the 1980s. His recording and performing career began in the late 1960s, although it was not until 1980 that he saw commercial success in his native land. In the UK alone, Stevens has charted no fewer than 33 top 40 hit singles in the sales charts, making him one of the most charted (and biggest selling) acts of all-time.

Braised Pork Leg with Hoisin Sauce

Posted by: santa  /  Category: Christmas, philippines, recipe

Most Filipino are usually use pata or pork leg as Crispy pata nilaga or  paksiw na pata.  If you are looking for alternative way other than those we use to cooked.   I followed the instruction in the recipe using hoisin sauce on some of my recipe, it gives a hint of Chinese to the dish that supposed to taste like one. I know it’s always troublesome to cook authentic Chinese dishes, because it requires ingredients that are not common on the average Filipino kitchen, however using these ready to use Lee Kum Kee sauces or oyster sauce. Here’s the website where i get this recipe . Source.

Pininyahang manok

Posted by: santa  /  Category: Christmas, philippines, recipe

Pininyahang manok, here is my version of pineapple chicken. This dish is one of the favorite at home. I don’t really like the ginataan version. This dish is also easy to prepare, it is just basically sautéing. I am sure for those who have tried it or have had it before like it especially the kids, probably because of sweetness of the pineapple. And it smells good also it makes you really drool. It is normally served on parties, especially on fiesta celebrations. Click here.
